Moshannon Valley Processing Center
Moshannon Valley Processing Center, located in Clearfield County, is the largest Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention facility in the Northeastern United States. Operated by the for-profit prison corporation GEO Group, this facility has become a central hub for detaining immigrants—many of whom have no criminal record and are being held without due process.
Inside its walls, detainees face isolation, substandard medical care, and a long record of human rights violations documented by legal advocates and watchdog organizations. The facility operates under a contract between ICE and the Clearfield County Commissioners—a contract that is set to expire in 2026.
It’s time to demand that Clearfield County officials end their contract with ICE—and that GEO Group gets out of our state for good.
